This year, I had the opportunity to take fellow backpackers and travellers on group tours to Bali, Vietnam and Mongolia. I met cool people, saw incredible sights, and absolutely loved hosting group adventures. So, in 2024, we have lined up some more incredible trips. Do you want to explore some incredible countries with me? Below are the 2024 tours that I am running with TrovaTrip so that you can join me on the adventure of a lifetime!

Snorkel in Ko Surin Nuea’s crystal-clear waters. Bathe in Cheow Lan Lake, right in the middle of Khao Sok National Park. Take a boat trip through Phang Nha Bay and spend time on Koh Yao Noi – an island just 15 minutes from Phuket but so much quieter.
This trip has been designed to show you the parts of Thailand that most people miss, which are still unspoiled and waiting to be explored. Even if you have been to Thailand before, take a look through the itinerary, as you may not have visited these places!

Tour Details:
We’ll embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip through Japan, travelling through Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka over seven days with a group of fellow adventurous travellers! Japan is a truly awesome country, and we have been quite a few times. However, for a first-time traveller, it can be overwhelming and intimidating. Not to worry, though, we have prepped a great itinerary, so you don’t need to worry about anything but enjoying yourself!
The tour kicks off in Tokyo, where we will explore the Harajuku and Asakusa areas of the city (some of my favourites). We’ll take part in a nigiri-making class at the famous Tsukiji Fish Market and also do a Meguro Evening Street Food Tour to familiarise you with Japanese food, with the help of a local Japanese guide.
Once our time in Tokyo is over, we’ll travel by bullet train, which whisks us at speeds of 320km/h to Kyoto. We will explore Higashiyama, Pontocho Alley, and Gion and participate in a traditional tea ceremony. If you are an early riser, we will wake up early for a sunrise photography session.
After Kyoto, we’ll take a short train ride to Osaka – a new favourite spot of mine in Japan,, famous for food and fun! We’ll embark on a food tour to try the local delicacies in the Shinsekai district. This is followed by our farewell meal and one of the famous Osaka pub crawls!
If Japan is on your bucket list, and you want to do as much as possible while saving your annual leave, this tour is for you! Check out the itinerary and book here.Â
July 2024: Safari in Zimbabwe & Botswana

Duration: 8 days
Spaces: None, but you can join the waitlist.

Extending the trip: Undecided, the group call is happening soon, so I will update you then!
Tour Details:
On this tour, we’ll travel to the heart of Africa for eight days of incredible experiences in Zimbabwe and Botswana.
We’ll start the tour at Victoria Falls, the world’s largest waterfall. On a sunset boat ride above the falls, you’ll meet your fellow travellers before starting your adventure to Botswana. We’ll go on safari at two national parks, doing a big-5 safari drive and river safari, finishing up with a farewell Boma Dinner and Drum Show
If an African safari has always been on your bucket list, but you don’t know where to start with planning or don’t want to go alone – this is a great option. You have the comfort of a planned itinerary and a ready-made group of travellers with similar interests.

August 2024: Safari & Sand Dunes in Namibia
Dates: 1st September 2024
Duration: 9 Days
Spaces: None, but you can join the waitlist.
Stops: Waterberg Plateau, Etosha National Park, Swakopmund, Deadvlei and Sossusvlei Visit, Sesriem Canyon
Extending the trip: Some of the group are taking a few days in Bangkok at the start, and a few of us are going to Koh Lanta at the end for a few days.
Tour Details:
I’m still pinching myself that I get to run a trip to one of my dream countries: Namibia! If you haven’t heard much about Namibia, I would urge you to check it out. It is such a diverse, interesting, and beautiful part of the world.
We’re starting the tour with rhino trekking at Waterberg Plateau National Park and then moving to Etosha National Park, where we can see four of the big five. Next, we’ll travel to the Skeleton Coast, where massive sand dunes merge into the sea – and where you can try sandboarding. We’ll do a sunrise trek on Dune 45, before visiting Deadvlei and Sossusvlei (pictured above).
The Namibia tour is a budget-friendly alternative to the above Safari. Accommodation includes camping, and we will often eat by campfire. If you are looking for a more rugged safari experience, then this would be up your street.

Spaces: Not launched yet; join my mailing list to keep updated on this tour.
Stops: Kathmandu, Pokhara, Annapurna Base Camp Hike
Tour Details:
The Nepal tour isn’t official yet, but after a vote on my Instagram stories, it seems like there is a lot of interest in it. Over 11 days, we will first visit Kathmandu and Pokhara before embarking on a trek to the famous Annapurna Base Camp.
Each day, we will trek to a new town before bedding down for the night in local homestays. This tour is for those with good fitness levels and experience in hiking, so you may need to do a little training before you join. Having done a section of this hike before, we had the most incredible experience, and the Base Camp trek has long been on my bucket list.
